Our Ancestral Drum Making Ceremony offers a meaningful opportunity to step into the ancient art of drum making, a practice shared across many cultures throughout the world for thousands of years. Held in nature and in sacred space, this experience invites you to reconnect with Earth energy, ancestral wisdom, and the power of intention woven by hand into your own creation.
From the beginning, the space is held as ceremony. With reverence and presence, we honor the materials, the spirit of the animal, and the deeper purpose of the drum itself. We offer Buffalo, Moose, Elk, or Deer, sourced through a reservation in Washington that blesses the animals and uses all parts with respect for different resources. This allows the process to be approached with gratitude, prayer, and care.
You will be guided through the weaving and creation process in a grounded and supported way, allowing your drum to take form step by step. As you create, your energy, intention, and spirit are woven into the hide, transforming it into more than an instrument — into a sacred ally and vessel of Spirit.
The drum carries a powerful vibrational medicine. It offers a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds and can support deep healing, energetic clearing, awakening, and connection. Drum medicine has long created unity, rhythm, and remembrance among tribes and traditions across the world, and there is something within us that naturally responds to its beat. It stirs the body, moves energy, and calls us into deeper presence.
At the close of our creative time together, we bless the drums and hold ceremony, speaking to the potent wisdom and medicine of the drum and honoring what has been brought to life. This closing is an important part of the journey — a moment of gratitude, activation, and sacred connection.

BUFFALO - MOOSE Drum Medicine
Buffalo offers a deep, rich, grounding tone and is one of the heaviest and thickest hides. Its medicine is often connected to the Divine Masculine — the energy of strength, support, courage, protection, and physical healing. Buffalo carries a steady and powerful presence that can feel deeply anchoring to the body and spirit.
