Rising Sons - Men's Wellness led and created by Joshua Talbot. It is a dive into deeper self through honoring our divinity. This offering is a held space for men to come and get away from all the noise and distraction of the exterior and to drop in, set it down and open up to exploration of self. We are here to thrive and by allowing ourselves to learn and apply practices to unravel the programming and judgment that we all have experienced. This container allows each participant to create balance that reflects through their highest self. We invite you to join us and move from your mind to your divine. Your inner voice is calling for you to listen. This innate wisdom that we all have within us is waiting to be shared. Many times we are too busy to hear it. This space is being held with open discussion on many topics that reflect a healthy and thriving mind, body, and soul. We find grounding and deeper understanding of ourselves, and others through deep breath work, meditation techniques, Shamanic activations, sound healing and ancient practices. Our future is literally in the hands of today’s youth. Why not give them tools to help them blossom along their path to the future. This is our dharma, our purpose for NAMASTEMADRE putting forth this contribution based youth program the Enlightened Youth Project.
The Enlightened Youth Project was founded under the principals that we offer a higher self, learning program. We seek to foster an environment that offers a space for understanding our mind, body, and spirit. The core of all beings is “Spirit”. Spirit, the fire of life that is within all humans, plants, animals, everything that you see in this wide-open world has a spirit. It is part of every single human being on earth regardless of color, social status, spirituality, religion or culture. We are all connected by the same flame of divinity, the diverse flame of divinity.
In today’s environment it can be easy for us to ignore one’s spiritual health. We are not guided by the belief that ignoring our spiritual health is the same as ignoring our physical or mental health. The primary concepts for alternative health practices are disease is a result of physical, emotional, spiritual, social and environmental factors, programming and judgement. While wellness is balance of our divine selves, and connectivity, not only to our most divine self, also in the understanding that we are all one. There is no I, without We. Positive spiritual health along with mind and body health are the three basic building blocks of a balanced human being.
Those three basic building blocks are the foundation to our growth as healthy, happy, thriving human beings. Spirit being your spiritual self the glow of life, your energy body, your relationship with a higher power, your connection to the world/others and world view. Mind meaning your mental and emotional health, your feeling, imagination, problem solving, how you relate to others, and your responses to everyday life. Body referes to of course your physical body. This also includes your genetic make-up, sexuality, your physical manifestation of emotion, physical sensations, physical activities and your relationship with diet and nutrition. The Enlightened Youth Project offer tools and practices to release energy attached to feeling hurt, guilt, anger or pain. Which is necessary for positive mental, emotional and physical health.
We offer simple tools for creating optimal health in your divine self, such as forgiveness. But, what does “forgiving” mean? Forgiving means to take back your personal power from everyone from your past and present. Forgiving means to accept and learn from every situation, even the ones that feel like “failure”. It does not mean forgetting. If you forget, how could you remember to do it differently next time? This is how we turn a “loss” into a learn. When we learn from a situation that we label as not having a positive outcome. We start to positively affect our mind, body, and spirit. This effect offers the opportunity to change and grow to become a better person. This in turn ripples out to those around you and invites them to rise into their highest selves. You begin to radiate a positive self-image, and this is contagious. Acceptance is another essential tool for being a balanced being with a healthy mind, body and spirit. We are not perfect, and that is the way we are supposed to be. We must find that we are perfectly imperfect in all your perfection! Accepting and find understanding from this point, provides a clearer picture of our situation and provides us with honest answers to our interests. However, we always continue seeking out ways to expand and grow all aspects of our mind, body and spirit. This is our responsibility, to be disciplined in our growth. Responsibility means that each person is responsible for their choices, actions, and thoughts. Taking on responsibility for yourself and making healthy proactive choices is another part of being healthy in mind, body and spirit. And, we can never forget the most important and most basic practice of all, LOVE. There are many different levels or forms of love. Love can be Divine love, familial love, romantic love, love for self, and acting in a loving way. All are of the same feelings, come from the same place in our divine selves and are independently different and still just as important to a healthy happy and thriving self.
Enlightened Youth Project is powerful medicine for the mind, body, and spirit of todays youth. We are on a quest for spiritual health through, Responsibility for self and actions. Including our inner thoughts and emotions. Reflecting the value of life is more than money and power. Dropping off the judgment between positive behaviors and actions versus negative ones and living from our most divine self. Fostering the courage to stand up for nature, community, family, and self in a positive way. Acknowledgement of a higher power then one’s self and acknowledgement that those same innate wisdom and tools are in all of us. Balancing our energetic flow with the natural flow of life, listening to creator, ancestors, nature, and your most divine inner voice. Being in service to those in need. Continual observation, reevaluation, education, and learning in our commitment to never stop growing. And always speak from the heart, move from our mind to our divine.

What is Shikhar (Peak) Breathwork Experience?
Shikhar Breathwork Experience was created by Joshua and Maria Talbot, with the highest intention of creating a healing method that is unique in its offering and to the attendee. Shikhar Breathwork has united several ancient healing practices into one complete, potent and necessary offering. We have developed a vehicle to allow for a true inner personal experience that is unique every time and to every participant. Shikhar Breathwork is a cultivation of many years of offering healing work using numerous techniques. With the purest and most divine intention, we are dedicated to always continue to offer the most potent healing in as many ways as we can. Our dharma in this life is to offer as much healing to all beings that we can using multiple methods in our healing work.
Shikhar Breathwork Experience is a multi-faceted, deep inner personal spiritual journey that is led by guides that are holding space for the group. The Navigator and several Guardians will have the Journeyers start participating in a shamanic energy release. Then by grounding down using specific deep breathing practices. You are then guided to find a comfortable position on their backs, in shavasana. Journeyers are then offered an opening deep breath exercise that will continue through their journey. Upon the completion of the Shikhar Breathwork experience there is reflection discussion.
This explorative inner journey is offered so that one can experience the many layers or koshas of one’s own being, and the intricate workings of your inner universe. Shikhar Breathwork was created to bring the participant closer to their most divine self, to shed off layers that do not belong and offer true healing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. This beautiful personal journey can lead the Journeyer to incredible awakenings. Journeyers have shared visiting the astral plane. Some have shared traveling through their inner universe. Others have had the experience of meeting with their Akashic record keeper. Each experience is personal and unique. Your personal journey can help you move through karmic layers that have built up in this life time or past lives. Healing of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine has also been explored. You may experience your own incredible journey through birth, and life. Journeyers have experienced a sense of reawakening as they have been shown something so powerful and greater then themselves, while others have found the start of their dharmic path for this life. This is truly an ethereal experience that is unique to the participant and unique to the time and place. Every experience is different per individual and per session.
Shikhar Breathwork uses breathwork, sound healing therapy, drum medicine, Incense, and Mantra chanting to create a truly unique experience of personal enlightenment. This workshop is designed to reduce stress and anxiety while calming and repairing the mind, body and soul. Shikhar Breathwork can lower blood pressure, improve breathing and circulation, alleviate aches and pains throughout the physical and spiritual pain body. It can help improve the mood of the participant. Shikhar Breathwork connects us with our natural pulse of life, our heart beat. This allows us to drop in to our most divine self for reflection, repair, love, understanding. Also allowing us to find our natural connection with Mother Earth. Finding our ancient connection to the beat of our universe can be deeply transformative. Shikhar Breathwork tunes the brain to alpha brain wave state allowing for deep healing to occur on a physical and spiritual level. Alpha brain waves are associated with meditation, shamanic trance, and integrated states of consciousness.
Shikhar Breathwork increases oxygen flow to the body. Shikhar Breathwork detoxifies and releases toxins. It strengthens your immune system with deep breath practices to help the systems in the body to process more efficiently. Shikhar Breathwork increases energy. Oxygen is the most essential natural resource required by our cells. We can go without food for up to 40 days and without water for 3 days, yet we can die after just a few minutes of not breathing. From a purely physical point of view, breath equals life. One of the benefits of Shikhar Breathwork is that it helps to release tension in the diaphragm and primary breathing muscles, relieving many long-term respiratory issues such as asthma and breathlessness. It opens the chest, releasing tension from the intercostal muscles and around the scapula, erector spinae and trapezius muscles, allowing for a more relaxed posture. Shikhar Breathwork activates the parasympathetic nervous system, bringing us into a relaxed state. It functions in the opposite way to the sympathetic nervous system, which stimulates activities associated with the fight-or-flight response. The lymphatic system depends on gravity, muscle movement, and the benefits of breath to keep flowing so that the body can be cleansed. NAMASTEMADRE - DRUM Making ceremony
We offer this magical ancestral drum making workshop as a way to connect with the skills that our ancestors used thousands of years ago along with being in nature, connecting to earth energy and weaving intentions into our creations. Drum making is available in many cultures all over the world and offers a divine unity to self and spirit.
The drum offers vibrational connection and clearing that takes place between the physical and spiritual world. Drum medicine is very potent in creating deep healing and removing energetic blockages in the body. The importance of intention while creating a drum is immense as you weave your energy and intention into the hide of these sacred animals to merge into an instrument of Spirit.
Drum medicine creates music to the soul along with unity and community among tribes all over the world. You cannot help but move your body to the beat of the drum. This is because of the movement of energy that takes place when the body connects to the drum. Drum allows the power of vibrational healing and is known to take individuals into deep states of enjoyment and awakening.
We offer Buffalo, Moose, Elk, or Deer. These animals are sourced through a reservation located in Washington that blesses and uses all of the animal for different resources. We will bless and hold ceremony for our drums upon closing our creative time together while we speak to the potent medicine and wisdom of the drum.

There are differences in the sound of every drum. Each drum is unique to itself and has its own spirit that it breathes through the rhythms that are shared into it. You will get to know your drum over time. It is important to create a relationship with your drum and share it's medicine with others. This will bring your drum to life!
We want to offer that each drum is specific to the energy and intention placed into it and what your drum becomes and offers you is directly related to the reflection of your vibration and spirit.
What hide is calling to you?
BUFFALO - MOOSE
Buffalo has a very deep pitch, very grounding, and is the heaviest and thickest hides. Buffalo is connected to Divine Masculine energy. Support, Strength, Physical Healing and Courage.
Moose is a deep pitch as well. Moose is associated with the Divine Feminine. The Goddess energy. It is associated with element of water and emotions.
Both hides are grounding and bring you into a connection with earth energy & ancestor energy on profound levels. The powerful vibrations through these hides will break up and clear energy blockages associated with the 1st 2nd and 3rd chakras and call in deep Shamanic Healing. Both hides are a blessing for either gender to own.
ELK
Elk – is a medium to high pitch, longer vibration, higher energy. It is a favorite and one of the most popular hides to work with. It is a heart center and throat chakra pitch and energy. Perfect for clearing out the heart space and sharing the love of its tender vibration while in ceremony.
DEER
Deer - offers the highest pitch, it is very light and perfect for angel connection. It is simple and has a clean resonance. Deer medicine is a great connection to the higher chakras the third eye, intuition and crown chakra as well as etheric realm.
